For those who have read it, I’m sure you understand.

For those who haven’t read it, read it.

Have things to update everyone about.

Now is not the time.

Must keep reading.

Ciao for now.

Been 10 Days since I blogged.

30 year old women scream just as loud as 13 year old girls.

Joey Mac.  Oh. My. Gawd.  There are just no words.  Sexy.  There’s a word.

Donnie DDub Wahlberg. You are crazy.  I love it.  Let’s continue this.

Jordan Knight.  Holy crap that voice.  Must have been raised by Angels.

Danny Wood. A break dancing, deep voiced rock star.  Thank you!

Jon Knight.  Not possible for you to be any cuter.  And humble.  And adorable.

New Kids on the Block.  You kicked my ass last night.

Thank you.

Fluffalicious…

It’s time now for all of you to become acquainted with my Fluffalicious dog Sarah Jessica; SJ for short.

First of all yes; she is indeed named after Sarah Jessica Parker.  What can I say?  My dog’s got style.

SJ turns 4 in August and has been glued to my side since she was 6 weeks old.  The bonding began the first night I brought her home.  She was about 3 pounds and fit nicely in the palm of my hand.  She snuggled right under my chin and slept through the night curled up like a little fluffy ball.  From that point forward, I was “Mom.”

Little miss Fluffalicious has quite the personality.  She kisses on command, “shoots hoops” in the bathroom with her toys, eats breakfast and dinner at the same time everyday and prefers smelly sweat socks to twenty-dollar designer doggy toys.

I’m relatively certain that SJ is at least twenty-five percent human.  She laughs at my jokes, knows all thirty of her toys by name and smiles at the camera.  She demands belly rubs daily, loves taking baths and prances when she comes home from the groomers.

Best of all, she cuddles like a champion, cheers me up when I’m feeling blue and loves me unconditionally.  Regardless of how long I’ve been away and I mean literally regardless (a quick trip to the trash can) there’s SJ, running to Mama, licking my face off and showering me with love.  When I’m on the computer, she’s at my feet; when I’m on the couch, she’s sitting next to or on top of me and when I’m in the shower, she’s patiently waiting by the bathroom door.

I’ve always loved animals but SJ was “My” first dog.  She’s brightened my every day for the last almost four years.  A piece of my heart with her always.

A shout out to SJ…  Thanks for being my Fluffalicious BFF!

Pool Bliss…

I’m a pool girl.  Always have been.  Living in Vegas has brought this love to a whole new level.

Being at the pool is about peace and relaxation for me.  When I’m at the pool, I feel like I’m on vacation.  It doesn’t matter if it’s 10:00 AM on a Saturday or 6:30 PM on a Wednesday.  The pool is my retreat.

I came across this feature story on MSN today.  Check it out.  If this isn’t pool bliss, I don’t know what is.

Ciao for now dove crumpets.  Smooch!

I’ve got the fever.  That’s right.  The fever.  The NKOTB fever.  In less than 1 week, I get yet another (see pictures below from the October 2008 concert in Vegas) chance to relive my tween years and attend 2 NKOTB concerts!  The first is Saturday July 11th in Vegas and then 4 days later on Wednesday, July 15th in Denver!

Pause for teenage girl screams.  Woooooooooooooooooooo!

I don’t know about any of you but I was a MAJOR NKOTB fan as a young lady (see proof below.)  When the Five Bad Boys from the Beantown Land announced in May of 2008 that they were reuniting, the thirteen year old girl inside squealed.  Not sure how it was possible but the boys, well, they got HOTTER!  Five Grown Men back in full affect ready to give their now grown up fans some “Full Service!”  They dropped their latest album, “The Block,” late last summer.  My.  Good.  Gawd.  It’s Good.  Yes.  I’m biased.  But it’s good.  It’s really, really good.

Who was your favorite?  I was always a Joey Mac girl.  Always.  Still am.  But “What-Up!” Mr. Donnie Wahlberg!!  DDUB is definitely back and hotter than ever.  Shhh..  Don’t tell Joey.

The Denver concert is going to be special on many levels for me.  My lovely cousin and I get the chance to experience the concert together, in the same row, side by side vs. opposite sides of the arena like when we were young.  I can’t explain how special it is to get the chance to relieve this part of my youth again with her.  It’s truly priceless.  Did I mention, we have THIRD ROW SEATS????  OMG!!!

Bring on the “Full Service!”  Bring on the “Face Time!”  Bring on THE BLOCK

So yeah, I’m a tad bit excited.  I’ve got my t-shirts and buttons ready.  Signs will be made.  Smiles will glow.  Hearts will pound.  Voices will be lost.  New memories will be made.    Let the nostalgia begin!!!

Joey & Jon

Contrary to popular belief, there are things that get on my nerves.  I just choose not to dwell on them.

Chipped nail polish

Bad drivers

Lint on the carpet

Piles of laundry

A snag on my favorite shirt

Commercials on the radio

The taste of salt water

Not being able to fall asleep

Someone walking by my table at a restaurant and staring at my food

The DVR cutting off the end of my favorite show

Foggy eye glasses

Bad ranch

Needing a refill when the server is no where to be found

Dirty tennis shoes

Any glimmer of light when I’m trying to sleep

The sound of the morning alarm

Misspelled words and bad grammar

Getting smoke in my eyes

Pickles

A dying battery on my iPod

Flight delays

Giving someone the “ok” to pull out in front of you and then not getting the standard “thank-you” wave

Toothpaste stains on the sink

Going to the fridge for a Diet Coke and realizing I’m out

Checkout lines

Getting stuck in front of or behind teenagers at the movie theater

People that leave their dogs in parked cars

Clowns

Jeans of any color except the various shades of blue

Sunday nights at 10pm

Dishwashers

Humidity

Junk mail
